Phillip was a leading sales professional at the iconic R.M Blakeney Real Estate in Noosa, which was founded in 1967 by Ron Blakeney. Phillip joined in the 1970s when the firm had 4 offices on the Sunshine Coast and has a deep knowledge of Noosa having grown up here. Since joining Hangloosa Phillip has sold over $32 million of Noosa properties.
He was elected 4 times as Noosa Shire Councillor (total 12 years) , representing Tewantin and Noosaville, and was at various times Chair of Council's Major Committee, and Town Planning and Finance Committees, and was a representative on Tourism Noosa, Tourism Sunshine Coast and the Sunshine Coast Economic Development Board. Phillip was the go-to local charity compere, auctioneer and quizmaster.
